IGB researchers actively collaborate with AIRC – Fondazione AIRC per la Ricerca sul Cancro  – AIRC Regional Committees of Campania

 with the aim of spreading AIRC image throughout the territory. Since many years, IGB has been involved in the organization of different AIRC events, supporting its initiatives and promoting the acquisition of new supporters, in order to raise awareness of the usefulness and necessity of people’s contribution for the financing of cancer research. One example of these initiatives are the events of fund raising that routinely take place in Piazza Vanvitelli in Napoli, managed by volunteers represented by both young and senior IGB researchers.
