The SCF Lab organizes once a year the theoretical-practical course “Stem Cell Differentiation Training Course”. These courses are designed to provide a detailed practical training in the basic techniques to work with mouse ES cell lines, exploiting experimental procedures for culturing and differentiating ES cells to cardiomyocytes and neurons. In addition, a series of lectures from invited speakers of international fame are usually scheduled in order to familiarise the participants with the underlying theory and concepts of current work with ES cells.

The first edition of this course took place in May 2006 and was officially recognized by the Ministry of Health (18 ECM). The SCF Lab is also involved in other educational activities such as the training of both undergraduate and PhD students.
