Scientists and inhabitants collaborate in all the phases of the project and the majority of the activity happen in the villages. Personnel chosen among the inhabitants has been trained as necessary to organize each activity.

In the villages,  laboratories have been organized into separated areas for the archives, for the medical examination and blood collection and DNA handling, and for reception. There, all inhabitants can be informed and follow the development of the project.
