AIRETT

ViviRett is a four-monthly official magazine of the non-profit organization  Associazione Italiana Sindrome di Rett (AIRett, https://www.airett.it/). The mission of this periodic is to deliver information concerning the Rett Syndrome (RS), a rare neurodevelopmental disease of genetic origin: ViviRett promotes the dissemination of initiatives and meetings and publishes scientific insights in the field of genetic, clinical and rehabilitative research on RS.

At the Institute of Genetics and Biophysics A. Buzzati-Traverso (IGB-ABT), a team of researchers engages in biomedical studies on this highly disabling pathology. They actively contribute to ViviRett, by publishing their research advancements and scientific outcomes and commentary on other AIRett projects. The articles have an outreach intent, as they address a “non-expert” audience and, in particular, the families of Italian patients, who are the biggest supporters of AIRett.
