IGB Capri Workshop
Since 1989 IGB organizes a yearly interdisciplinary international workshop on genetics, molecular and cellular biology. The workshop is held on the delightful island of Capri. The topics are always related to areas covered by the IGB research and range on a variety of subjects, such as molecular evolution, X chromosome, neural development, MHC genes, plant development, ocular development and physiology, cell migration and their relationships with human diseases. The scientific level, the format and the quality are recognised by international funding organisations, like FEBS or EMBO, which provided funding for most of the recent workshops.

EMBO WORKSHOP 2018
Dal 14/10/2018 ore 14.00 al 17/10/2018 ore 14.00 In the central dogma of molecular biology, RNA was thought only to pass genetic information from DNA to protein. Most recent findings strongly indicate that RNA modifications, like mRNA methylation, play dynamic regulatory roles that are analogous to the reversible epigenetic modifications of DNA and histone proteins. […] ...
EMBO WORKSHOP 2015
FEBS WORKSHOP 2014
Decoding non-coding RNAs in development and cancer Dal 12/10/2014 ore 14.00 al 15/10/2014 ore 14.00 Recent insights into RNA biology induced a paradigm shift towards the recognition of RNAs as functional molecules, beyond serving as messengers for protein-encoding genes. Cells contain different classes of non-coding RNAs. However, the functional importance in biological processes for many […] ...
